Since 1994, the WPBP has provided women and transgender persons in prison with free reading materials covering a wide range of topics. We are an all volunteer, grassroots organization. We seek to build connections with those behind the walls, and to educate those of us on the outside about the realities of prison and the justice system. We are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Karen Womens Organization
For over 50 years, the Karen people of Burma have been fighting for their freedom and rights. To escape persecution, people have fled across the border into Thailand where approximately 120,000 Karen live inside refugee camps. KWO is a community-based organisation of Karen women working in development and relief in the refugee camps on the Thai border and women inside Burma.
